Welcome to the 156th issue of The Pier, which marks our newsletter’s third anniversary! With AB Split Test, you can now run full-page split tests where the variations are hosted on an entirely different websites to your WordPress site. For example, you could test a WordPress landing page against a Shopify product page. Additionally, WS Form submissions can now be tracked as conversions. For revenue-based tests, AB Split Test can read order or payment totals directly from submitted forms, enabling you to measure which variation actually generates more revenue, not just which receives more submissions.

👋 New: Coaching & Analytics in Klasio

Klasio has just introduced a new coaching feature to its LMS platform. This enables students to book time with you directly, without having to leave your site.

You can use this feature to create 1:1 coaching sessions, schedule your sessions, connect your calendar and start taking bookings. Paid or free. 15 minutes or 2 hours. One session type or many — it’s completely up to you.

Students who trust your courses enough to purchase them are the same ones who would pay for direct access to you. Now you can offer them the opportunity to book a session and receive personalised assistance, allowing them to delve deeper than any recorded lesson could.

Finally, a new dedicated Analytics section has been added to Reports, providing a consolidated view of your revenue, orders and engagement. You can also use the new Operational report to track coupon performance and monitor failed or pending payments.

WordPress

Etch 1.5.0 introduces a new public API that allows you to programmatically control blocks, styles, components, loops and more. AI Assistant now supports ACSS and can read and write custom field values. It can also search your content across post types. The Content Hub also introduces new date and time field types, right-click management for custom fields and groups, and exclusion-based assignment rules.

FlyingPress 5.5 now allows you to filter Core Web Vitals by page path and country.

Tourfic 2.22.3 adds native Bricks Builder support for hotel, tour, apartment, and car templates to its Pro version.

Elegant Themes introduces a new gradient editor, gradient variables and text effects to Divi 5.

wpDataTables 7.4.1 now offers WordPress MCP integration, providing users with 23 AI-powered features for tables, charts, data, media, settings, and system information.

WowOptin 1.4.38 brings new Acumbamail integration.

FleekDash 2.6.0 enables faster page loading, even on sites with thousands of posts and numerous plugins. Additionally, lists, filters and bulk actions are more responsive when working with large post and media libraries.

WP ULike Pro 2.2.0 introduces a new Schema Generator including an FAQ schema and over 15 Schema.org types.

HelpGent 3.0 comes with a revamped interface, cleaner public form sharing, a visual logic canvas, a unified contact system and much more.

Builderius is now a visual development environment for WordPress. The beta sale is now open, and will run until 21 June.

E-Commerce

SureCart 4.4.0 introduces an auto-prompt login feature at checkout, alongside a new ‘Login with access code’ option. It also boasts an enhanced order bump design. You can now also create invoices with custom amounts (‘name your own price’).

Claspo introduces three new features for Shopify. The Products component displays live catalog or cart items in a pop-up, enabling referrals to recover carts and increase order value through upselling and cross-selling. Promo codes now automatically apply to the Shopify cart the moment they appear, eliminating the need for copy-paste and driving more checkouts to completion. Finally, brand colours are pulled straight from the online store, so templates match the brand instantly.

Phox Elements introduces nine new WooCommerce elements, covering every step of the customer journey: shop, filters, product pages, cart, checkout, thank-you and account pages. They are all designed in Breakdance and powered by standard WooCommerce.

ThriveCart launches Smart Links, which allow you to redirect multiple product URLs to a single master checkout so that no traffic is lost. They also protect affiliate commissions, even when old or variant checkout links are clicked.

CRM

With Groundhogg 4.5, you can now create recurring broadcasts using the broadcast scheduler. Not only does this work with the other native broadcast features, such as batching and easy cancellation, but it also enables you to send emails faster. Rather than scheduling an email or text message to be sent at a specific time, you can also select multiple dates and times. Additionally, the new Send Time Optimization feature allows you to send each email in your broadcast at the time when a contact is most likely to interact with it, based on their previous history.

Communities

SureDash announces that quizzes and lesson progression locking are coming soon. The latter feature will force members to work through your lessons in a set order. A new admin tab is also coming, so you can see how your members are doing in your courses.

Filament Blueprint introduces a new Filament Security Audit skill.

Landing Pages

Swipe Pages brings MCP support, allowing you to create landing pages with Claude, Codex, or Antigravity.

CMP

SureCookie 1.0.0 has officially been released and comes with translations for 20 languages, including English, Spanish, Indonesian, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German and more.

AI Voice-to-Text

Following the launch of the AudioPen keyboard for iOS and iPadOS, on-device transcription is now also available for your notes (video).

LMS / E-Learning

Tutor LMS 4.0 RC comes with built-in GDPR compliance support. This allows you to create unlimited consent rules, display consent agreements across your site, keep a record of consent acceptance and more.
